Randy, check you private messages
I'm glad you decided not to go postal.......LOL that would have gotten you nothing.
I know what it's like dealing with red tape like that. My late hubby had a severe back injury in '96. He could no longer carry on with his occupation. Everything was a fight. So much stupidity at his expense ( IE: back pain)
I have a little understanding of what you are going through.........what a mess, 'eh.
you go ahead and vent. defective equip on a dodge dakota took my husband's life almost 3 years ago.Chrysler settled with me and cut a check just before they declared bankruptcy. the check literally bounced. My question has been ( to a state Senator) and others, is, " why is it this huge corporation can bail out and even gain something to build on and this widow who became such because of their defective equip. was left with nothing to build on and no bail outs. As a matter of fact I had to go on disabled widows benefits and the Pres sees fit to give no raises each year......AAAAA. So you see I can relate to the injustice of the system.
i have been off work now since 05 fighting the work insur over a spine injury and installing security systems in cars from 96 to 05 the nerves in both elbows are bad, i have tingly hands, i dont mind but you cant sleep if your back hurts and your hands go numb, other wise im fit as a fiddle
that just got run over by a truck , haha, but i can make gourds so im good to go
and my intarsia

wow Randy, I'm so sorry.....that's sounds painful and I know pain. A truck vs bike......not good at all.
what did you mean about your spine and arms. I imagine you have a lot road rash along with everything else, but were you having back problems before this happened? I'm just asking. I sure understand spinal pain.
I wish I could still garden. Gourd plants are so beautiful. I can just imagine them planted all around a pool........wow.
I'm glad to hear you got a lawyer on the case. Are you going up against a small company or large corporation?
My husband was killed instantly in an accident because his seat belt broke. Chrysler settled with me for a mere pitance, but we had to settle before they declared bankruptcy. I have a copy of the settlement and a copy of the check ..........that did NOT clear the attorneys bank. I've tried diff avenues but talk about pulling teeth. I know you will do much better because the people you are going up against probably arent declaring bankruptcy and being bailed out by the gov, too. yeah, that hit a nerve for sure. sorry about spouting off.........just don't let anyone pull the wool over your eyes. Go like a bulldog and make em' do what you feel is right! Hope it's a local company, it will just make things easier.
it's funny, I was given some gourd seeds. At the time my greenhouse was up and running and I was planting anything and everything, so I planted the gourd seeds. Then I did some research about their nutritional needs, water and such. When I dried my first gourds, I had never seen gourd art. I just knew what a wonderful natural vessel they were. The first two I painted. One box and one easter basket for my grandson painted with a bunny, fallen log eggs all over.......it really was cute but a big learning experience. I cut the top off with a xacto knife. Although I knew better, I cut toward my body and well......ended up getting my arm stitched up. But it still was from that point that I started trying diff things. Living here in the SW there's a lot of native american and SW design. I saw a shallow basket at a place we went to for barbecue and thought......hmmmmmm how can I do that look on a gourd. Since I had never seen gourd art and got my first computer, I came online to look around. that very basket weave was on one of Bonnie's gourds so instead of just doing it, I wrote her, told her I didn't know it had been done and aked if she minded if I gave it a try.......she didn't mind and the rest is history.I come up with something or even see things like pine needle coiling and just have to try it.
By the way, I heard you were in an accident. are you okay?
