WOW, there are so many beautiful works of art that are new. I always miss so many it irks me.......LOL

I just started again. Can't seem to stop looking, but I have to force myself to stop and get back to my faux metal art vase. It's almost done , but I allow things like this great site distract me.......UGH.....wish I had more time to see all the gourds here.......sigh

there are good gourding days, a few not so good and then the very worst day ever.......so far.

I've been fighting a sinus' infection for months. What does this have to do with gourding? Everything. I can protect my sinus', that's not the problem. I discovered and plan to live by something I recently learned the hard way. If you have to push yourself to work on a gourd and you're not feeling well at all.......DON'T!

but that would be stupid. I have had so little time to tell my fellow gourders how incredible their work is. I've been trying but I just tried to post a comment at 2 wonderful gourd pics and my comment refused to post. PC driving me nuts, so giving up for now. I only wish ya'll could know how wonderful I think all the work I've been looking at, is.

After all these years of making and selling my gourd art, I finally got to participate in a gourd festival and had such a ball. I know that these things are old hat to many, but it was my first time and very exciting. I've been such a hermit for over 2 years that it felt good to do something really different.

Getting ready to start working again. Have the Christmas boxes out of my workroom, my shopvac set up, cleaned up the tornado that attacked that room...LOL....that would be me.

I have a dipper gourd with a really long "handle"........I grew this one and have had it for some time now. I STILL can't decide what to do with it. Today I sold the gourd I call "Nature". It's one of my favorites. It's so encouraging when I sell a gourd, not to mention very helpful.



After doing things the hard way for so long, I have aquired tools I wanted so bad for quite some time. It's such a pleasure to work with tools that make hard work, so much easier.
