Great details and painting.  Good faces.  How fun.  I'm not quite ready to embrace Christmas yet.  I want to believe in summer!

Christy,

Thanks for the interest in my work.  I love your Santa's.  They have such expressive faces. Keep up the great gourd work!

Christy, I wanted to let you know where I found most of my embellishments:  (money saving)

If you have a Dollar Tree in your area,  it has most for a dollar a bag.  Also Potpourii has a lot. I found this after I had spent time on the woods on a nature walk and didn't find much.

I'm more of a 1 dimensional painter. Yours are like tole painting. I'd like to find a place around here to learn that type of painting, but so far I haven't had any luck. Do you come up with the designs yourself or do you have to look at something to get the ideas?

Hi Christy,

I'm sorry I have not commented back sooner.I don't get on here very much.I don't have any gourds to get rid of.I am still painting what I have for the Appalachian holiday festival in Morehead Ky.I'm going there in December and have still got a lot of gourds that need to be done.If I can find any dried gourds I will let you know.
