Hi Terry, Have we met? I belong to the Camden Art Assoc., do you? Your face looks very familiar. Do you have a gourd patch in Sumter? I joined the Capital City Patch and the SCGS, and the AGS. I'm new to all this but want to know lots more. Do you know about the Mountain Gourd Gathering that Chris Pace is organizing Aug. 21 in Cedar Mt. NC? I am planning to go and am passing the word. So good to hear from you, Terry. Your class will be inspirational, I am sure of that. My carving is primitive to say the least. I suspect you need those super engravers, I just have the Dremel bits, etc. My set up for carving is good and I keep practicing those waves. I love them and hope to master them in this lifetime. Anyway, I had a fab day in Charleston. I met a friend who has bad hips so I called ahead and found parking, free, right where we wanted to go. It was a perfectly beautiful windy day in my favorite city. I can't wait until tomorrow to start carving again. peacenolly
