The gourd on my profile is one of my favorites. It won 1st place contemporary at the KACC southwest fine gourd art show in TX last year. Was surprised but so excited.

Hi Suzy,
I'm glad you enjoyed my work. I do several different types of gourd work but my passion is the carving. I do know one thing.....If we combined your painting skills with my carving, we would be an awesome duo! Your painting is so great that your work looks like it is carved. One of the last ones you put on this site of the Santa with the wooden pole in his hand looked like it was carved until I saw a front view of the Santa. Keep up the good work. Phyllis
