lavender

I just saw a question about using lavender like you would pine needles, now can't find who ask or where. But I made a lavender basket with fresh cut lavender, with what I had left over from adding the lavender to the top of a gourd. After the lavender had dried, really dried, it lost most of its color and almost all the little flowers fell off. So if you don't care if the flowers fall off or the color change, go ahead and use it. Did smell very good for a long time :-}See More

Hi, Sharon! Myrna said something about camping for fest goers will be at end of the fairgrounds closer to the fest this year. Remember the grassy field off the end of the class building? There, I hope so! That was a long walk for us last year from the far end.

Just heard from my Wenatchee friends, they are coming to see the fest on Sunday again.

Sharon the comment u made on the dye - was it leather dye? If so theres no way 2 save the sparkly effect that i no of. Some colors will keep it if u finish w a fixative spray.

Welcome, Sharon. We’re glad you’re here. There are many activities and discussions for you to participate in. Look around and join in. And have fun! Please feel free to add a profile picture – and, of course, your own gourd photos. We are limited to 25 photos per person at a time, though, so if you want to add more than that, you’ll need to delete some older ones so there will be room for everyone’s pictures. Thanks, and again, welcome. Darlene
