I am just staring out doing pyrography with gourds.
Robert, pictures of finished gourd art are alwasy welcome, however, we do not allow nongourd postings, postings where gourds are not the main focus, green and/or unfinished gourds. We may leave the later up for a short while but, do eventually delete the ones that are not of finished gourds. We'd love to see those gourds when you are done with them.
Robert, Welcome to Gourd Art Enthusiasts. I have been a member for over a year and have found the site very well ran and most inspiring. The communication is great and the photos are really wonderful. It is amazing what creative ideas there are. I like to wood burn gourds and have just competed in my first gourd show. It was the State of Missouri Gourd Show and I was blessed to win a blue and a red ribbon for my wood burned vase and bird house. I am not sure I would have chose mine but It was so much fun. I don't know who manages the site but they seem to do a good job and the people seem to be great in following the few rules that are established. The communication between artist is geat and there is virtually always someone to help with any question you have. Anyway, just wanted to say welcome. Clinton Waters
