"If you use FaceBook, there is a group called THE ART OF COILING PINE NEEDLE BASKETS. You might ask over there. I have seen many different colors used in their baskets made with pine needles. "

"I used to work with several fibers before gourds and always used white vinegar but with pine needles I don't use anything after their hot silicone bath.  "

No, Reggie, I used my Foredom, sander and wood burner.  I have a Shofu but find I don't use it as much as I used to.  I use the Master Carver that Bonnie sells a lot instead.  It is definitely a nice tool.  I would not use it for heavy carving but it does great for refined carving.

Reggie--Thought you might like to know that the chip carved pieces you used in your past newsletter sold this weekend at a show in Quincy, Illinois.  First time at this event and well well received.  Sold mucho pieces including all my big pieces.  Now under the gun for three large shows in September.
