Has anyone ever tried casting Inlace? I am wanting to try it, and could see using either a rubber or plaster mold, but am unsure about rubber as they say not to mix in plastic. I would also like to…Continue

I'm sending you all a little snow just in case you don't get that in your neck of the woods, wishing you all a wonderful and joyous holiday and all the best in the New Year.

Rainier, saw your chat about spraying the inside of a gourd. What I do is either use a product called Mess Master by Design Master (Michaels and I think JoAnns sell it) and it will take any over spray off. I use it right away, just spary a little on a paper towel and wipe. Sometimes I will take blue painters tape and tape the edge of the gourd leaving a little bit of the tape sticking up (press down really hard at the edge) and then take a plastic bag and put the top of the gourd at the bottom of the bag and tie the handles closed. Cut an opening in the bottom of the bag which is at the top of your gourd and using the blue tape again, tape the bag to the previous tape. The bag handles will also give you a 'handle' to hold onto when you are spraying. It sounds like a lot of work but might be better than trying the Mess Master on raw carved gourd. Don't know if it would work on that. Now you have lots of ideas and I'm sure one of them will work for you. Good luck.

Rainier, appreciate my work. Had to take about a year and a half off trying to prepare our house in Houston to sell (curently live in Corpus Christi. Hope to get more involved with TGS and start a patch here. I do enjoy sculpture, just is so time consuming. Need to update my website very badly. Hope your projects go well. Thanks again. Don

I joined the Ohio group - and look forward to (hopefully) meeting you all some time in the future. I don't have pictures to post yet, because this is a new medium for me, but I am working on that - give me a week or so.
