Naomi, Hi. I don't know how I missed your question to me about medium posted way back in Oct, but anyway, it's all acrylic paint. I have always been a painter and so it's an easy choice for me. Cheers!
Naomi, Hi, this is Janet Lisbony. Thank you for your comment. You asked what medium I used on my gourd. I used Adirondack Alcohol Inks - carmel and butterscotch. I did use large beads and did this one before I got brave enough to carve out enough of the gourd to inlay the beads so that they would be more even with the gourd surface. I love your work and the detailed painting that you do.
Thanks, Naomi. I'm not completely comfortable with doing Native American work but thought they would sell in the gallery better than my nature gourds. They do but I still prefer birds, flowers etc. :) Phyllis
