Mike, to say I like your gourd figures would be an understatement. Which is why I'm inviting you to contribute to a gourd book project I'm working on. It deals with gourd figure construction techniques. The artist would show the selection of gourds used and step-by-step construction, etc. Too much info for this space. If interested, please e-mail me.
Thank you, Mike, for your detailed explantion and information. I have always liked ALL your work; so detailed and precise. Do you use a spray sealer or apply with a brush of some sort? Sometimes I have found a spray sealer will cause more running than if applied with an applicator, such as a cotton ball, makeup sponge or foam brush.
I do quite like your polar bear. I am interested in what brand of paint pens you use or the variety you use. I know that when I have tried to use them, at the point I try to seal them, the ink runs. Can you help me out here. Tks for sharing your wonderful talent, Mike.
