"Fantastic, as usual!  :~) I cannot even imagine how much time it must take to do all that detail work.  Days?  Weeks?  Months? It just boggles the imagination.  Well, mine at least.  :~)"

I think I saw about 4 or 5 red dots when I looked around this morning.  Hope to see bunches of red dots by Sat afternoon.  Hope to see one on one of yours and mine. LOL.  Hey, how about more than one.

Mike, to say I like your gourd figures would be an understatement. Which is why I'm inviting you to contribute to a gourd book project I'm working on. It deals with gourd figure construction techniques. The artist would show the selection of gourds used and step-by-step construction, etc. Too much info for this space. If interested, please e-mail me.

Wow! What amazing detail & creativity. How do you manage the precision while working on the curved surface of the gourd?

Thank you, Mike, for your detailed explantion and information. I have always liked ALL your work; so detailed and precise. Do you use a spray sealer or apply with a brush of some sort? Sometimes I have found a spray sealer will cause more running than if applied with an applicator, such as a cotton ball, makeup sponge or foam brush.

I do quite like your polar bear. I am interested in what brand of paint pens you use or the variety you use. I know that when I have tried to use them, at the point I try to seal them, the ink runs. Can you help me out here. Tks for sharing your wonderful talent, Mike.
