Marty, Use baby powder or cornstarch. I've used conrstarch for years to get those sleeves in place. Just douse the inside of the sleeve and then slid it on. Takes a little patience. You are not a whimp but you will get more used to the heat over time. Personally I gravitated towards the Optima pens rather than detail master. Just needed the adapter cord. They burn lower and give better results-K

OK, Marty! Looking forward to it. I tried and tried to include the pics on fb but they wouldn't load. I knew I could catch you here.

You need the power flex cord for your Dremel, easier than holding the wide body tool, small and large sanding drums and a medium or large round burr, plus a couple gourd tops each shaped like the gourd tops in these photos. The gourd tops should be medium thickness, not too thin but not really thick, about 1/8" to 1/4" or so. A table hanger for your Dremel is handy too.Hibiscus.JPG      Calla%20Lily.JPG      Tulip%201.JPG

Welcome, Marty. We’re glad you’re here. There are many activities and discussions for you to participate in. Look around and join in. And have fun! Please feel free to add a profile picture – and, of course, your own gourd photos. We are limited to 25 photos per person at a time, though, so if you want to add more than that, you’ll need to delete some older ones so there will be room for everyone’s pictures. Thanks, and again, welcome. Darlene
