You use a Dremel for the cutouts? You must have a burr that I don't have - the cutting wheels won't go deep enough, or you are using more thin-shelled gourds than I can get. Your photos are also great. I think I need to get a little less "organic"and "tropical" and more professional, like yours.
Mahalo for the feedback.

You seem to be the queen of cutouts yourself. The ends of my spirals keep breaking off! I think I need to upgrade my old Gourd Saw. What do you use?

Linda Prince said… Hi Lynn: I used a photo of a sunset I took, so it must be the "glow" from that that makes it look shimmery.
Clinton R. Waters said… Welcome to Gourd Art Enthusiasts. I have been a member for almost a year and have found it to be a well managed site. Those in charge seem to do a great job. The photos are so inspiring and the communication is great. I do mostly woodburning but enjoy carving and plan to explore other media. My wife and I are retired school teachers and are happy to have time to pursue our crafts. Once again welcome.
