protecting carved areas

What do you suggest putting on carved areas such as stippling, ripples, etc if you wish to keep them as "natural" as possible?  I am not wanting to put paint or color on these areas.Continue

Powertex is a liquid that has the consistency of wall paint and smell a whole lot like wall paint and glue mixed together. Bonnie Gibson had it and we got together to try it out on a playday. It dries as hard as a rock and is messy to use but I liked the results. Phyllis
