Bonnie Adams said… - Hi, Kate, I added your fest to my master list. I'll put a new copy on the discussion page in the next few days. Time for bed right now and posting it usually takes me awhile. As to using the Gourd Gems, it will be OK to use them for the fest but they should only be copied once for that event's display. I do them for the Gourd Magazine but I sell reprints myself so copying them for more than the event wouldn't be right. I definitely don't mind if you use them for the event. I'm glad you enjoy them! I just learned about the Festival and will be there. I'm happy that LA is getting a chapter. I've been traveling to Houston for the last year, but I'd much rather stay a little closer to home.

- Did you have a good crop of gourds this year? Mine have done nothing. I guess it eas just tooo hot and no rain for a long time. - yes, the tamales are great. They are the old indian style. they do not have chili powde r in them like they make in old Mexico.Where near Arcadia? I have a very good friend lives in between R ingold and Doyline. Hate to say it but, I have not been that way very much lately, between the gas so high and the weather so very hot.
