Canteens hiding

"Oh, there are some in there but I pull whenever I can reach them.  With the drip system only the gourd hills get water so that really helps keep the weeds down.  If I sprinkled there would be hundreds and I would be hoeing constantly. "

"Yes, the blooms are yellow instead of white.  Figured I would try them and see what happens.  That is what I like about gourds...all the different sizes and shapes.  Never can tell what you can do with them."

Been growing gourds for about 10 years now. Member and President of the Washington State Gourd Society. Not an artist but a grower. But I do own some beautiful pieces, some done by my wife.
