"This maybe damage but those pieces or shells can be turned into some nice shards. I have some that look just like these. Mine are field mice not tree rats. It helps some with the mice if you can get them up in the air like on stock panels but…"

"Sorry about the loss. All the hard work!  If it helps I had the same thing happen to me several years ago when I left a bunch of dried gourds out all winter. So I suppose can be cut into bowls and salvaged."

"Harvested a bunch more Sunday 1.24.16.  Still have the eggs and spinner to go.  May get them up if the weather holds.  Been nothing but rain and snow and cold for weeks."

"Just over 200 on the pallets.  150 in the tote.  Still 200 to go in that patch.  Martins,  small kettles, sugar bowls, French Warties, Green Drums, White pears, tabacco box, canteens, Large canteens and Warted Mayos. …"

Been growing gourds for about 10 years now. Member and President of the Washington State Gourd Society. Not an artist but a grower. But I do own some beautiful pieces, some done by my wife.
