"Thanks Linda, I had another piece in the fine art show, but it was pineneedle coiling on wood, not w/ a gourd. It's the background picture on my facebook page. See ya!"

"Thanks, I worked on the coiling in my spare time for 2 weeks. I didn't realize it would take that long. I accomplished my goal of making a pineneedle sculpture though. I'm going to try making more sculptures, but on a smaller scale!…"

"OMG, I don't think I've ever seen so much pine needle coiling on one piece. You must love doing it--that is a labor of love. Very nice and congratulations on selling it too."

Donna, your designs, weaving, painting are just great. I saw your pieces at the fair.

I still haven't done much weaving but it's at the top of my "to do" list for 2012. To feel that I'm personally improving I need to do some weaving to take my bowls to the next level. Hope I can do it!!

Donna, I enjoyed meeting you too. It was fun and I hope I can remember how to do that design by myself. I have so many other projects going right now I won't get to it for a while. Hope to see you again soon. Linda

Donna, would your friend in Ridge Springs be JoJo by any chance? If so we are both in the Capital City Gourd Patch . The next meeting is Aug. 7 in West Columbia? Check out the web site to see the address etc. and think about coming to the meeting. It's a small group but very nice and there's always a lot of sharing of info etc.
Where do you work?
Hope to meet you soon. Linda

Hey, Donna, where is Monetta? I'm in Elgin (the one near Columbia).
How long have you been doing gourds? I' ve been woodburning for 11 years, but only working with gourds for about 2 years. But it's all I want to work on right now. LInda

Welcome, Donna. We’re glad you’re here. There are many activities and discussions for you to participate in. Look around and join in. And have fun! Please feel free to add a profile picture – and, of course, your own gourd photos. We are limited to 25 photos per person at a time, though, so if you want to add more than that, you’ll need to delete some older ones so there will be room for everyone’s pictures. Thanks, and again, welcome. Darlene
