Just bought a bundle of palm inflorescence.  I bought it, now I'm not sure how to use it.  Do I soften them the same way I would pine needles?  I also bought philodendron sheaths.  I have not worked…Continue

Hay, I have one TB horse that is 24 and then a foundation quarter horse that's 10. Neither can get to the barn yet because they are in the lower pasture, if the builder ever starts our house (living in one of the other barns right now) we'll put a compound fence around the house and barns then the horses will have access to what will be their domain. I'm 64, a bit over a year ago my dogs ran into me and broke both sides of my ankle resulting in a metal plate and 11 screws. I haven't been back on my horses and my husband doesn't want me to because if I get tossed I could really damage my ankle again. I might not ride but still like having my guys around. You know what I mean, there just is something about the outside of a horse. Sorry to hear about your 2 ponies going on to the greener pastures.

Hay, we have moved and have built me a new shop in my horse barn. It's been almost a year since I have had a place to work. Love your work glad I came over to your page to write this note because I get to see your great work on the slide views:-) AC and heat are great!

Hi Cheryl,

I started the Banyan Tree in August and have been finished since Christmas.  I worked on it off and on.  It was fun to do and figure out but I will say that I was glad when it was finished.  Phyllis

Yes, Cheryl... we are planning to do the Springfield Show.  For 2012 I'm planning to do Arizona, MO, then Texas.  But, you would laugh if you saw my inventory! :)  I'd love for you to check out my facebook page:  Praisin' Art; Gourds.  Then you could see my past work too... If I ever head towards Oswego, I will definitely look you up; I'd love for you gourders to stop by my way too!

Cheryl... I'm just now reading your note about the Missouri Gourd show.  Your gourds are AMAZING.  I love all my dear MO gourd friends... Bill and Donna I've known quite a few years from the Ohio, MO, then Texas shows... and Bert and his wife from MO and TX shows.  I have treasures from both that I always share with my students when I do my gourd presentation.  I also have Cass Iverson treasures too... and hope to see her again at the Arizona gourd show.  You should plan to come!  Your gourds would sell great.  It's an amazing show!  When we lived in MI, my daughter and I traveled to the MO gourd show (2008 I think) to meet my parents who came from KS.  Would you have been at that show?
