In Georgia it is legal to have and sell deer antlers, hides or tails but illegal to possess a wild turkey feather.

Thank you for the great welcome. I look forward to using this site to help me be a better gourder. I've been working with gourds for about 15 years but only recently started being more modern. Everything I've worked on would be Pre-1840 (colonial and rev war) period correct. A gourd patch was started in our town about 2 years ago and I joined in. I have had many a jaw dropping experiences since then. I entered my first gourd show last year and had 2 gourds come in 2nd and 3rd. Waahoo - i'm hooked. I'm trying to keep our patch (Southern Gourd Crafters) going. My friend, MJ, has a patch (Oh My Gourd) in Baxley and her patch is growing by leaps and bounds -yaaahooo. Her and I will sponsor a GED in May. Again, this is a fantastic site and I'm heading back to read and look some more. Take care and have a great day.
