The gourd grower will save me weird gourds. This one had grown through something like a hole in a fence. It came with one large gourd shape (the mama) and one small shape (the babies) I just had to carve the area in the middle creating both babies, add two heads and beaks, add a tail and wings. The mama just needed a beak and a little carving on the wings and I added a tail.
Brenda, I am sorry not to have responded to you till now. I'm still learning how to fully use this web site. I forget to look all around the page to see what's there. Anyway I am glad to be your GAE friend. There is so much to see and share here I'm sure you will like it too.
Hi Brenda--as you can tell I am not on here very often. Haven't had much time for the computer- to answer your question Gretna was just OK. Nothing to get excited about and I might not apply this year, depends on how I feel by the end of March! Hoping to get to more PAGS stuff this year. Love your pictures of your birdhouses, especially the one with the very attractive kitty cat! Are you using seeds and pine needle petals? Very nice!
Brenda, I love your use of pine cones and seeds on your gourds. I don't know which one I like the best! How do you get the "petals" off in such big pieces? I know you will like this web site there are so many gifted artists here that are willing to share so much.
Where is Dillsburg? I lived in the Pgh. area from l972-1985.
Welcome, Brenda. We’re glad you’re here. There are many activities and discussions in which you may want to participate. Look around and join in. Add some photos of your own. And have fun! The GAE rules are located on the right side of the main page. Darlene
