Help with oil lamp

I want to make an oil burning gourd. The directions call for a 5/8" hole. How do you clean the inside of  the gourd out with that small of a hole?

"Did we attend the same show?  There were hardly any venders there. And the ones inside brought very little of what they normally do. The class I took of Jane Weller was great. Made up for the rest of it."

Hi Betty, what I do is wood-burn all of the subject (in this case cats') then lay stains or ink dyes on most areas, blending as I go. all white areas are done with white acrylic paint watered down for the texture and color that I'm after. The brushed in hair you see is done with the burn-tip and is enhanced when a finish is applied.      Is that what you see?

Hi Betty, we now have a State of Ohio group on GAE. You do not have to be a member of the OGS to join the group here on GAE. Please join so we "buckeyes" can stand up and be counted on GAE! Thanks-Kim Bilek
