"Darla, I've never seen a fire ant (none in Michigan) and don't know what a shoo fly is, or how it would slay,  but thanks.__Barbara"

"What a hoot! Great idea, it should be placed on a table in a historical house with a shoo fly slaying to keep the flies off of the food. Well done....that could be a pun couldn't it!"

Welcome to Gourd Art Enthusiasts. I have been a member for almost a year and have found it to be a well managed site. Those in charge seem to do a great job.  The photos are so inspiring and the communication is great.  I do mostly woodburning but enjoy carving and plan to explore other media.  My wife and I are retired school teachers and are happy to have time to pursue our crafts.  Once again welcome.
