Thankfully, in 1987 the late Fred Williams from Albuquerque New Mexico befriended me and freely shared his immense gourd knowledge and curricula. (he taught a gourd class at the University of New Mexico in the late 70's) gourds and gourd seeds, and the rest is gourd history. I am a founding member of the New Mexico Gourd Society and thank L. Orlando for the vision and energy to create the NMGS . I continue to create gourd art on a daily basis and enjoy freely sharing my knowledge and experience.

Arturo, I want to buy some of the Deco Color pens you used in the class I took from you at the Wuertz Gourd Festival last year.  I find there are several to choose from. Can you tell me more specifically what you use and from where?

Love the look of your work!  Getting straight lines on a gourd is a challenge, and you do a great job with it.  Oh, I think your fingers will be drawing straight lines for many years.  ♥   I haven't decided if I'll be submitting classes for 2016 Wuertz.  I do plan on doing TGS in 2016 though.
