Thanks everyone.  You're right Diane, I'm back in the saddle.  Just need to time myself when carving so I don't over do the hands again.  I was going into gourd withdrawal there for a while.

Using Bonnie's basket weave technique as you did is learning a technique and using it in your own style.  I think she would be proud of you!!  I love it when my students do that.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments!  It took a while but I'm pleased with how it came out.  I've used Bonnie's basket weave technique so I figured it should work for the bone as well.
