Got this gourd from Welburn. The tip is a spear shape. This was a fairly soft gourd which allowed me to almost use the burner as a carver. It was a unique beautiful special gourd. Went to a good home last year

Nice work. Where do you get your thick gourds?

Nancy, I love this.  What type of tip did you use to make the thick burning on the branches?

Eileen that's how I feel with my carver. Still learning to control it. I do tend to use my burner at hotter temp than I should. Go through lots of tips but it seems to work for ny style.

This is a beautiful piece Nancy I love it. I have a lot of difficulty getting proper control when I burn. I generally end up with lines where they shouldn't be and none where they should be!
