Glenda - I was looking at this gourd and wondering if it was the one you told me about.  Beautiful.  Which section was yours?  bp

Glenda:

All of us learned a lot about our endangered species working on this project.  I hope that this project will create an awareness of just how many  different species we have in Louisiana that are endangered.

I know I didn't know about the lovely piping plovers you painted.....

I enjoyed working on this projects with other members. Janet did a superb job  complimenting our gourd with her finishing touch.

Thanks Nanette:

I think all the artists did a great job.  The pine needle coiling was done by Janet Shauderaff, who coordinated the entire project.

Kate, this is very nice.  It makes me proud to be from Louisiana.

Blessings
