My first try at coiling in this manner. Tooling all around and I made the medallion to match

I'm so impressed I don't know where to start.  What an impressive collection of gourds.  I really like the way you used the braided cord on several of the gourds, I've been looking mine for months trying to figure it out.  The broken gourds with the dramatic split paintings should be entered in a show.  I'm a sucker for the tooled look and you use it very well.  Coyotes came out very dramatic, very nice.

Boy, Sharon, your gourd is beautiful! I love the medallion. It really pulls the piece together.

Thank you so much Cheryl. I have been at this for almost a year now and it is really fun for me. I appreciate the nice words. There are so many great artists on this site that I hesitated to even put pictures on. But I felt that it isn't very nice to not share when I enjoy looking at other work so much.

Wow Sharon!!!  Your gourds are absolutely gorgeous.  Looks like you have been doing this for years and years.
