The Texas Gourd Society's 2016 Lone Star Gourd Festival will be held August 19-21at the New Braunfels Convention Center.  This location is an excellent location because it's air-conditioned, most classes are inside, large booths, and ample parking.

Visit the TGS web site to get information about the booths.  Classes have not been accepted yet.

We hope you will attend!!!!

Be sure you pay your 2016 dues by the end of February.  If you don't, your name will be removed from the membership roster.

Clarissa, the application is now  on the website as well as the Paypal fee.   Thanks for letting us know about it.

Clarissa and anyone else, I checked and I will have to get hold of the webmaster.  Guess she put the link for the summary in both places instead of the app link where it should be.  Also, it should say that there is a $2 charge for using PayPal.  Hopefully, this can get fixed asap.  She has a day job so it won't be done until she gets home.  Sorry for the mixup and delay.  Any other questions please email me at judyrichie@yahoo.com.

I tried to print the application, but the link is showing the summary for the classes only, no application. Where do you see the $ 2.00 additional fee to pay with the pay pal...at the checkout ? I didn't see the fee when I tried to add to the cart. Thanks.

The classes for the Lone Star Gourd Festival are now on the website, texasgourdsociety.org.  We already have some sign ups, so if you want to guarantee a place in your favorite class, sign up as soon as possible.

Class deadline for submitting 2014 classes is April 1.  That's just around the corner!  If you plan on teaching, get your classes submitted.  Go the the TGS website (www.texasgourdsociety.org) to get the form.

Hay, I'd like to thank every vendor, teacher, student, Chair person, board members, TGS Members, every volunteer and just everyone who came to the show. The competition entries were lower in numbers but the art work was super. Frank did a great job over in Kid's Kraft Korner and Patricia Berry did well setting up the demo's which I think the public enjoyed. I liked the new location of the show and hope next year where ever we are does great.

I thought the festival was just great.  Thanks to everyone for putting in their time and efforts to make it successful.  It was very much appreciated.

We had a great time at the show this year and with the new members to the board and those who have agreed to stay on, it looks like a bright future for our TGS.  Yes, a special thanks to all the special folks who gave of their time to make the festival happen.
