While I enjoy fellowship, I've long since discovered it's best to seek out venues where the art you present is unique to that around you.

Very good point for a vendor...but we have 67 competition categories and would love to see some of your work exhibited!
Great! I hope I can make it. I always enjoy seeing what others are creating! Especially when they bring their best to compete. That's what I appreciate most about GAE - all the photos...
