Hey all you Georgia Gourders out there, if you didn't get to the GGS Show in Perry, Ga. you missed a great show. The Central Georgia Gourd Patch (aka the "Looney Bin" crew) and I had a lot of fun and can't wait for next year. We are already planning on what each of us are going to enter next year. So if you are in the middle Georgia area and want to join us, call me at 478-262-1045 or e-mail me at anne.touchton@yahoo.com.

Okey-dokey, here is a Georgian! I am Sandra Hutchins, Editor of the Georgia Gourd Society, Newsletter. I am glad to have found this site. Linda, Charlotte and the Coastal Sprouts are a great bunch and have so many talented people. Edna, north Georgia doesn't have many growers who grow in quantities. Roy Maxwell in Royston is probably your best. Rita, somebody should get Ann Bunch, kickng and screaming, back to the Hot 'lanta Patch! BTW, Judy S. was very surpised and happy that you contacted her. She is doing good after two radiation treatments.

Not sure where to put this information but want everyone to know about our show 8th Annual Georgia Gourd Society Show, The Spirit of Gourds, Whispering to the Artist, July 30 - August 1, 2010, Georgia National Fairgrounds, Georgia Building, Perry, Georgia. Georgia is becoming one of th gourd shows to attend. Our competition is of the best.

Hope to hear from you all and see you in Perry. Check our website, www.georgiagourdsociety.com, for classes, directions, information.

I am getting antsy and cabin fever and want to get out into the fields buying gourds - need some 45"+ bowl gourds, curley dippers and large egg gourds. Presently use a supplier in Royston and Wrens. Anyone in Georgia know of other suppliers north of Atlanta? I am in southwestern NC. Thanks.
