I have several questions. I thought we joined the Colorado Gourd Society but it appears there are only 22 members. Does this include us? What is Kayla Galloways "group" of which we appear to be members? I was watching a "chat" but could not find a place to join in.

If you could email me at vavras@plains.net, I would be glad to forward the festival information to you.  It will eventually be available online, but is at the moment still in the form of Word documents...Thanks again for your interest!

Thanks for your interest!  I've added you as a friend, hoping we can communicate directly that way.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Hello!  Old Town Museum in Burlington, CO is looking for gourd artists who might be available to participate as demonstrators and/or vendors for our Homestead Harvest Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 3 and Sunday, Sept. 4.  The festival celebrates heritage crafts and features entertainment for the whole family.  I'd be glad to provide further information to anyone interested!

Oz and Kayla, Oz I could not get the state of Colorado's 60 people living there to come up and show any locations and that may be due to the fact that we do not have a real gourd society for the state, but thank you for the info and the interest....Kayla, I am not the person you need to take over this undertaking as much as my heart wants to do this my body and husband know better and it would not be up to the expertise and energy level required for the activity.........however, I will do all I can to be an active member in as many ways as possible. It still astounds me that a state as big and busy as Colorado is not out there ahead of some of the smaller less populated states. Thank You Oz and Kayla for all you do. Tami

Kayla, go look at that map on thier website. It says there are 60 AGS members in Colorado. Contact Bob James and ask him for a list of AGS Colorado members with thier contact info. That's how we started here in Washington State.

Good Luck
