Just a reminder that in Northern California next week end there is a gourd festival in Knights Landing near Sacramento.  It is at Leiser Gourd Farm, you can look them up at the gourdfarmer.com

Hi, Grace.  I won't be able to go this year.  Hope they have a wonderful turnout. They always put on a special show.

How many of you are going to the Knight's Landing gourd festival in May?  It is north of Sacramento.  I will be there.  Would like to meet others.

I've finally finished editing and posting all the pictures I took from my Visalia trip. There are pictures from the Gourds and Baskets, Containers of our Culture event, as well as ones from the opening gallery show, the Betty Finch exhibit in Bakersfield (life-sized gourd figures), the classes and other activities, and the California Gourd Society Patch Leaders meeting that preceded the events. I also put in an album to show Betty Finch's beautiful property and studio where she is privileged to life and work on her wonderful gourds. Enjoy!

Hi, Members. I've been asked by the California Gourd Society to change the name of the California group here at Gourd Art Enthusiasts, so we are now the California Gourders here The California Gourd Society has it's own group on Yahoo and they want to keep that as their group. :-) The more places we have to interact, the better.
