Bonnie, Thanks for your marvelous Arizona Gourds facebook site! Your sonoran springtime gourd artworks are fantastic, and your willingness to share "works in progress" photos is both inspirational and helpful from a tutorial standpoint. Donna

Just got back from Arizona and the Wuertz Festival. As usual, it was a wonderful show with lots of friendly people. You Arizona people are a great bunch. I love coming there.

The Arizona Gourd Society would like to thank all who participated in our dinner meeting Sat. Feb 6, 2010 at the Wuertz Festival. Everyone had a great time. The food was good, the gifts were teriffic and the conversation was enthusiastic. We would like to thank all vendors and members that donated door prize gifts for the dinner guests. Every gift was special and appreciated by the winner.

Thank you for the great time.

Thanks to the Arizona Gourd Society for providing all of the vendors with a snack bag. It was really appreciated. I could have done with a whole bag of those little chocolate bars, LOL....

Hi everyone, yes it was a great time, the weather was near perfect and the tun out excellent! Here's a picture of our club booth, sorry to say I couldn't get the whole booth because we had 8 members selling their gourds.

Oh my gosh what a blast the Festival was, did you hear that there were so many people on Saturday they ran out of wrist bands and had to use the left overs from Friday. Lots of great people and lots of wonderful ideas for inspiration. I want to get started right away on next years gourds!!

Hope everyone gets a chance to attend the Wuertz festival. There were lots of great entries in the State Competition and the Vendor building was filled to the brim with finished art and supplies. Plenty of entertainment from strolling mariachis and Hawaiian dancers. Plenty of lo-cal fair food, too!
