Quilt piece 3 Replies

I am not sure what you mean by a quilt piece concerning gourds. I would like to know how to make one, can anyone give me info on this.

Don't forget to send in your entries for the AzGS competition - if you enter prior to Jan 1 the entry fee is very low.

AzGS Fall meeting is coming up - this year it will be held on Nov. 20th from 10-2 at the beautiful Tohono Chul botanical park in Tucson. Visit the state website at www.arizonagourdsociety.com for details. Free classes!

Just completed the phone-in marathon to sign up for classes for Wuertz this February. We are also trying to obtain booth space for the first time ever... and last February was the first time we even touched a gourd!!! Looking forward to this year's festival.

New fee structure for next year's competition!!! For entries, members pay $2 if they enter early. If they enter late or are non-members, the price is $10 per entry. The day of the festival it goes up to $25. Go to www.arizonagourdsociety.com for details.

Are you interested in applying for a vendor space at the Wuertz festival? People that are returning have first dibs on their old spots, new people choose spaces after Sept. 1st. If you participated last year you should have gotten a notice from Kathy Wuertz.

Bonnie, Thanks for your marvelous Arizona Gourds facebook site! Your sonoran springtime gourd artworks are fantastic, and your willingness to share "works in progress" photos is both inspirational and helpful from a tutorial standpoint. Donna

Just got back from Arizona and the Wuertz Festival. As usual, it was a wonderful show with lots of friendly people. You Arizona people are a great bunch. I love coming there.
