my gourd lamp so far, about half of the cuts are made. leather and ink dyes so far adding border colors later maybe mettalics to add some highlites. about 9" tall , 6 " wide

"My favorite medium for this type of joinery is QuikWood. Whether your tubing is going thru the gourd or laying at an angle against the gourd, QuikWood and probably AS (both are epoxy clay) would do the job. You may want  to glue some…"

Can anyone help me. I need to attach copper tubing to the bottom of some gourds, my Grand daughter and I are trying to make a sm water garden I need it to withstand the South heat and cold. I also want to cover the tubing with some art of clay that will with stand the weather

"Thanks Bonnie. I did indeed have many hours not only sanding but carving and filing too. It was a very time consuming work but considering how special the particular gourd was I wanted to do right by it. I am hoping I will find more gourd like this…"
